PRACTICE PROFILE

Paul J Fleming Associates was established in 1983, Paul Fleming having previously been an Associate of a leading firm of nationally based quantity surveyors with a commercial and industrial bias.

Since 1983 the Practice has completed a wide range of projects for individuals, property
developers, national companies and local authorities. The range of projects undertaken spans from relatively simple industrial and housing developments through to retail, specialist engineering testing facilities, licensed premises,
listed building refurbishment, leisure complexes, office development and town centre redevelopment.

The Practice mission statement is to provide the client with a completed building project,
which satisfies his needs, on time, and in the knowledge that value for money has been achieved.
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES
PAUL J. FLEMING, B,Sc (Hons), MRlCS

Paul Fleming gained his degree in Building Economics and Measurement from the University of Aston in 1977 specialisation Project Management. In 1978 Paul was elected an Associate of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors, and in 1980 became
a Professional
Associate (now Member) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Paul began his professional career with Oswald Wainwright and Partners before joining Bucknall Austin and Partners in 1973, becoming an Associate in the Practice in 1982 before founding Paul J Fleming, Chartered Quantity Surveyors in 1983.

As the building procurement methods have moved on from the traditional QS role, the
Practice has evolved to a project management based ethos in managing the whole construction process.
